The UP200 utilizes Yoopers United for all of our volunteer sign up and communications. Yoopers United is an online webpage, managed by United Way of Marquette County, aimed at promoting and supporting volunteer opportunities in and around Marquette County.
Please review the opportunities below before volunteering to make sure that you're able and willing to commit to each position. Once you have registered, a volunteer from the UP200 will be in contact with you with further instructions.

UP200, Midnight Run, Jack Pine 30
It takes nearly 700 volunteers to put on these spectacular winter events. Be part of the excitement by volunteering for the UP200, Midnight Run and Jack Pine 30 sled dog races! Indoor and outdoor volunteer positions are available. Help is needed throughout race week with a variety of schedules and locations available.
UP200 Dryland Dash
Get an early start on the sled dog season by helping with the UP200 Dryland Dash in October of 2026. Held in Negaunee Township, this event is a great way to see dogs in action – all the excitement without the snow!
