The 10th Annual UP200 Dryland Dash will take place on Oct. 10-11 in Negaunee Township.

February 11-16, 2027

A 12-dog mid-distance race that covers 228 miles of challenging terrain. This race is an Iditarod qualifier.

February 11-15, 2027

A fast-paced, 8-dog race that covers 82 miles.

February 13, 2027

A 6-dog race that covers 26 miles.

The UP200 is proud to offer scholarships for mushers interested in participating in the 2026 Dryland Dash. If the Dryland Dash will be your first race, we encourage you to apply. Open to all ages.

Mushers and UP200 Board members are offering a volunteer orientation, hands-on dog handler training and a close-up look at aspects of the upcoming sled dog races. Not volunteering? Spectators are welcome! Get a new perspective about what you see at the races and what it takes to make the races happen from both a musher and race organization perspective.

Join us on Sunday, February 1st at 1:00 PM at the Northern Lights Veterinary Clinic, 917 County Road 480 (just west of the Crossroads at M553 and County Road 480).
