The UP200 is proud to offer scholarships for new racers interested in participating in the 2025 Dryland Dash. If the Dryland Dash will be your first race and you hail from Michigan's Upper Peninsula (NMU, Tech and LSSU students welcome!), we encourage you to apply. Scholarships will cover costs and fees for participation in the Dryland Dash scheduled for October 11th and 12th, 2025
After being one of the first recipients of the UP200 Dryland Dash Scholarships, Haleigh Bonk, of the Michigan Tech Mushing Club, went on to compete and take 6th in the 2025 Midnight Run.
Interested in applying? Submit your application to volunteer@up200.org by October 1, 2025. Please include a brief statement describing your interest in sled dog racing, previous experience (if any), why you hope to be selected for the scholarship, and your contact information including your U.P. address.
