Drawing for 50% Entry Refund Done at The Mining Journal - Upper Peninsula Sled Dog Association - UP 200

The U.P. Sled Dog Association entered all mushers who registered for the UP200,MidnightRun or Jack Pine 30 by November 15thinto a drawing for a 50% refund of the paid entry fee. The lucky mushers names were drawn from the musher hat by Jim Reevs fromThe Mining Journal, the UPSDAs Charter Lead Dog sponsor. The winning musher for the UP200 is Frank Moe (Grand Marais, MN) and Joanna Oberg (Ignace, Ontario) is the winner for theMidnightRun. Although no qualifying early-bird entries were received for the Jack Pine 30, mushers continue to register for the races. Congratulations to Joanna and Frank!
