The 2019 UP200 Dryland Dash & Fun Run will take place on October 12 13, 2019 at Negaunee Township Park. Come see the equipment, dogs in training, or try your own dog on the trail!

Competitive races cover the one- or two-mile loop trails starting at 10:00 am on Saturday and Sunday. Classes featured in the two-day event are 6- and 4-dog rig; 2-dog scooter; 1 and 2 dog bikejor; and 1 and 2 dog canicross. Times are combined over the two days to determine the winners competing for a $2000 purse. A portion of the entry fees are donated to UPAWS.

On Saturday at 2:00 pm the Fun Run offers an opportunity for people who want to run or bikejor to take one dog and cover the one-mile loop for fun and to raise money for UPAWS. For people with little to no experience, a limited number of harnesses, shock absorber lines, and waist belts may be available on a first-come, first-served basis. 50% of the Fun Run $10 entry fee is donated to UPAWS, so bring your dog and enjoy the beautiful trails at Negaunee Township Park.

Spectators are welcome and this is a family-friendly event. Come see sled dogs in action during this Fall event. For more information or to volunteer to help, contact Tim Trowbridge at 920-323-7256 or email Tim at tctrowbridge@charter.net.
