With much sadness, we join many who mourn the loss of musher Frank Moe. Frank and his Moetown team ran both the UP200 and Midnight Run several times during his mushing career. He was easily recognized and well known in Marquette, along the trails, and at the checkpoints. Franks willingness to share his knowledge, his love of dogs and the sport of mushing, and his determination to make things better will long be remembered. His smile, humor and orange hat will be missed. We extend our deepest sympathy to Franks wife Sherri, his family and many friends. Run on in peace, Frank, with your beloved dogs who preceded you leading the way.
A foundation will be created in Franks name to carry on his work of water protection.
