TRAIL: The Jack Pine 30 sled dog race runs from Gwinn to Marquette on the original UP 200 trail established more than twenty years ago. Jack Pine 30 mushers leave Gwinn from the parking lot of Larry’s Family Foods traveling over a short section of snowmobile trail.
Bib Draw: For the first time in the ten year history of the Jack Pine 30 there will be a bib draw to determine mushers’ order of departure from Gwinn. On Thursday, February 16, the Upper Peninsula Sled Dog Association will draw bib numbers for Jack Pine 30 mushers who are pre-registered for the race.
Minimum Number of Entries: A minimum of 10 mushers is necessary for the Jack Pine 30 sled dog race.
UPSDA Board of Directors adopted this policy to ensure that a sufficient number of mushers are competing. To allow adequate time to notify mushers, trail crew, and volunteers, if there are not at least 10 mushers registered by February 5, 2012, the race will be cancelled.

You will do aesmowe!!! I used to feel that way before races when I rowed, but then the time comes and you get eerily calm and focused. Then .you kick ass! You’ll look darn pretty doing it too. You always had a flair for fashion, so I’m sure you will stand out.
